Mary Lou Chrobot, 80, of Three Rivers, formerly of South Bend, Ind., passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, in Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo.
Mary Lou was born on April 12, 1933 in South Bend, Ind. to Peter and Stella (Scultz) Cudowski. She was employed with the South Bend Elks Club for 20 years and at Memorial Hospital in the Communications Department for six years. On April 25, 1953 in St. Stanislaus Church she married Henry Chrobot.
Survivors are are her husband and five children, Susan (John) Mackin, Michael (Kim Gladden) Chrobot, John (Connie) Chrobot, Robert Chrobot and Steven (Julie) Chrobot; eight grandchildren, Christopher Mackin, Kellen (Sierra Rhodes) Mackin, Jeff Willis, Tim (Suzanne) Willis, Olivia Chrobot, Alexis Chrobot, Ethan Chrobot and Brian Chrobot; and two sisters, Helene Wilcox of North Ridge, Calif. and Louise Reiner of Granger, Ind. Mary Lou was preceded in death by four sisters, Stella Sniadecki, Regina Kubiak, Florence Kowalewski and Lorraine Rozewicz; and two brothers, Eugene and Ervin Cudowski.
Mary Lou volunteered at Three Rivers Hospital. She enjoyed family, friends, travel and new adventures. She was a wonderful sister, wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all.
