Keith Wing, 68

Keith Delmas “Bumper” Wing, age 68, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully early Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Keith was born on Nov. 4, 1945 in Three Rivers, the son of the late L.D. and Mildred Pearl (Armstrong) Wing.

Keith graduated from Constantine High School in 1966. Bumper was very active in sports and was a stand out in football, wrestling, and track. He then went on to barber school in Indianapolis in 1967 and worked in Bristol, IN., until he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served his country in the Vietnam War.

Upon his honorable discharge Keith furthered his education at Glen Oaks Community College and later received his bachelor’s in education from Western Michigan University. Keith found his calling as a financial planner and spent most of his career with Securities America.

Bumper loved to play golf, working in his garden, and scuba diving. His true love was spending time with his family and friends. He was a very active and faithful member of Riverside Church.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Alice Schooler, of Lebanon, IN.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, wife Joann (Miller) Wing, of Three Rivers, whom he married on June 18, 2005. Step-childrren, Tad (Karen) Rau, of Westminster, MD., Kelly (Tom) Bisson, of Ft. Mitchell, KY., and Toby (Monica) Rau, of Cincinnati, OH.; seven step-grandchildren; three siblings, Virginia (Jim) Miller, of Paw Paw, MI., Duane (Mary Jo) Wing, of Gold Canyoun, AZ., and Arlene (Bob) Sullivan, of North Benton, OH.; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Hohner Funeral Home 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers, MI.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 at the Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Booko officiating. Interment will be held in Constantine Cemetery with military honors under the auspices of the Constantine American Legion.
