Millie Lamb, 82, of Jones, MI passed away at 5:00 p.m. On Friday, January 31, 2014 surrounded by close friends and family at IU Health Goshen Hospital.
She was born on June 4, 1931 in Cass County to the late Ward & Wilma (Withers) Seager.
On August 8, 1950 in Indiana she married Francis A. Lamb. Fran passed away on March 17, 2011.
Millie is survived by: 1 daughter, Sandra (Mark) Tucker of Middlebury, IN, 1 son, Gary (Gail) Lamb of Three Rivers, MI, 4 grandchildren: Missy (Tim) Lake of Petoskey, MI, Cody (Erin) Lamb, Tory Lamb, both of Three Rivers, MI and Cassie Fuller of Kalamazoo, MI, 4 great-grandchildren: Timmy Lake, Jordyn Lake, both of Petoskey, MI, Gabriella Lamb and Blake Lamb, both of Three Rivers, MI, 1 brother, Wilbur (Alice) Seager of Jones, MI, 1 sister, Martha Seager of Edwardsburg, MI, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Ward & Wilma Seager, 3 brothers, Warren Seager, Walter Seager and Wayne Seager and 2 sisters, Marion Westgate and Waneta Adams.
Millie worked at Continental Can in Three Rivers, MI, Jones Post Office and Shell-Mart, both in Jones, MI. She loved to play cards, games and she devoted her whole life to her family.
A memorial service has been planned for 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Porter Baptist Church, 12032 Teasdale Lake Rd., Constantine, MI. Pastor Randy Peterson will be officiating.
