Max Hard, 67

Max Harold Hard, age 67, of Constantine passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Borgess Medical Center. Max was born in Battle Creek, MI on January 9, 1947 the son of Howard and Verba Sours.

Max was a “jack of all trades” and enjoyed wood working , flea markets, western shows, and wrestling. Max also enjoyed fishing, and hunting, until he started to loose his eye sight.

He especially loved spending time with his many nieces and nephews. Max was a member of the Faith Finders Church of Constantine for over ten years. Max graduated from Three Rivers Adult Ed in 2005.

He was preceded in death by parents, sister, Gladys Shingledecker and two brothers, Robert hard and Mickey Sours.

Max leaves to cherish his loving memory sister, Lillian Rhodes. And nieces, Pam Stewart, Diane Perrson, Kathy Shumway, Belinda Kline, and Sherrie Hicks; nephews, Mike Rhodes, Steve Hard, and Bob Hard.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Faith Finders Church; 229 W. Second St; Constantine, MI 49042.

Because of Max’s love for pot lucks, the family invites everyone to bring a dish to pass immediately following the service for a luncheon at the church fellowship hall.
