Nancy Earl-Johansen, 75

Nancy D. Earl-Johansen, 75, of Goshen, Ind., died Feb. 17, 2014 at Kindred Hospital in Mishawaka, Ind.

Born May 12, 1938 in Three Rivers, daughter to the late George and Helen (Beebe) Baker.

From June of 1958 to April of 1975 she was married to Richard L. Earl Sr. and they created two children, Rick and Kathy. In July of 1983 she married Walter Johansen; he preceded her in death in April of 1993.

Surviving are one daughter, Kathy (Gary) Roth of Shipshewana, Ind.; step-children, Marybeth (Joe) Kasperlik of Grand Rapids, June Johansen of Grand Rapids, Linda (Ron) Morgan of Wilmington, N.C. and Martin (Pam) Johansen of Edwardsburg; seven step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Doug (Gladys) Baker of Naples, Fla.; a sister, Barb (Bill) Buenger of Camarillo, Calif.; three nephews; two nieces; and two grandnieces and four grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Earl Jr. (2012); daughter-in-law, Dawn Earl (2009); infant brother, Fredrick Baker.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday, at the Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, MI 49091.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, at the Forks Mennonite Church, 11435 W. 025 S., Middlebury, IN 46540.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Forks Mennonite Church, American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.
