Frank “Tete” Osborn, age 83, of Three Rivers, passed away Thursday, February 27th, 2014 at Three Rivers Health. He was born in Three Rivers on June 7, 1930, a son of Donald and Beulah (Franklin) Osborn. Frank graduated from Constantine High School in 1948. Frank was married to Betty (Flack) Osborn for 22 years. He worked at CG Conn Musical Instruments Elkhart, IN from 1954 to 1977. Frank also worked in construction for Mike Hoopingarner and John Dundek and owned the Hungry Man Restaurant in Elkhart in the late 1970’s. He was a member of the Three Rivers Elks, Three Rivers American Legion, Constantine Alumni Association, St. Joe Valley Golf Club and Saugansh Country Club.
Surviving are his daughters Rebecca Hummel, Three Rivers, Manda (Eric) Outman, Three Rivers, son Greg (Sandy) Osborn, Constantine, grandchildren Nathan Osborn, Mary Reynolds, Ben Osborn, Christopher Osborn, McKena Outman, Mattie Outman, Scott Hummel, Mindy Hulse, Dawn Briggs, Jamie Judsen, Kristin Hummel and Ryan Hummel, many great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Michael Osborn, and brother Carol “Ozzie” Osborn.
Relatives and friends will be received Monday from 5-8 p.m. at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine, where Religious Services will be held Tuesday at 11 am. Pastor Barry Edds, White Pigeon Church of Christ, will officiate. Interment of Ashes will be at Constantine Township Cemetery at a later date.
