An Indiana woman who was arrested after a police chase in April had her case bound over to Circuit Court last week by St. Joseph Coun ty District Judge Robert Pat tison after a preliminary hearing.
Aubrey Ann Coy, 34, re mains in the St. Joseph Coun ty jail with a $150,000 bond. Coy faces charges of fleeing and eluding, operating a ve hicle under the influence of drugs, possession of cocaine, child endangerment and three counts of resisting a police of ficer.
On April 13, Michigan State Police were notified by the Kosciosko County, Ind., Sheri ff’s Department, which said Coy had abducted her 5-year old daughter during a super vised visit.
Coy failed to stop for pursuing officers, prompting Constantine police to deploy stop sticks on U.S. 131. The chase ended on U.S. 131, north of Garber Road, when a second tire went flat.
