Two people sought medical treatment following a two-vehicle collision over the weekend in Cass County.
Sheriff Joe Underwood Jr. said Keith Vail III, 30, of Niles, was driving west on Calvin Hill Street when he failed to stop at the intersection of Calvin Center Road at 11 a.m. Saturday in Calvin Township.
Vail’s vehicle struck a northbound car driven by Duane Gillam, 61, of Cassopolis. Gillam and a passenger, 67-year-old Alan Stewart of Cassopolis, were taken to area hospitals. Gillam was transported to Lakeland-Niles and Stewart was transported to Elkhart General.
