Philip Raymond Gregrich, Sr., 59, of White Pigeon, passed away Thursday, August 14th, 2014 at Riverview Manor Nursing Home in Three Rivers. Phil was born in Benton Harbor, MI on November 26, 1954 to William Knapp and Doris Barton. On June 17, 1995, he married Valerie Harvey. Phil was employed in retail sales at Bontrager’s Supply in White Pigeon. He also worked as a semi-truck driver, but was always a cowboy at heart. Phil was the best talker, and an avid fisherman and NASCAR fan.
Phil is survived by his wife Valerie Gregrich; daughters MeShell (Greg) Mortensen, Angel Osbon (Fred Rose), Amanda Keifer (Josh Overton), and Rebecca (Troy) Hershberger; sons Philip Gregrich, Jr., Kenneth Gregrich, and Waylon Gregrich; grandchildren David Rose, Sharreen Johnson, Donovan Rose, Anna Mortensen, Eric Mortensen, Crystal Rose, Valentine Mortensen, Kylee Keifer, Ethan Rutledge, Cody Rutledge, and Trinity Hershberger; great grandchildren Emmett Mortensen, Jack Rose, and Aubree Gilbert; brother Vern (Penny) Gregrich; and foster brothers Rick Howe and Howard Howe. He was preceded in death by his mother, brother Kenneth Gregrich, and infant son Philip Gregrich, Jr.
Friends and family will be received Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 12-2 p.m. at Firm Foundation Ministries, Centreville with religious services following at 2 p.m.. Pastor Don Smith will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
