Donna Hackman, age 82, of Papillion, Neb., and a former White Pigeon resident, passed away Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, in Papillion.
She was born Oct. 24, 1931, in White Pigeon, a daughter of the late Dalton and Hazel (Ford) McFall Sr.
On Sept. 25, 1954, she married Victor L. Hackman in White Pigeon. He died Dec. 14, 2004.
Her early life was lived in White Pigeon and she was a graduate of White Pigeon High School with the class of 1949. Donna and Vic settled in Papillion following his retirement from the U.S. Air Force. While being the wife of an Air Force officer, Donna and family lived in many places all over the world, including New York, Maine, Texas, California, Alabama and Thailand.
She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in La Vista, Neb., and loved playing Bridge.
She is survived by a son, Victor “Skip” Hackman Jr.; four daughters, Roxanne Hackman, Lee (Harvey) Wright, Leslie Roy and SharriMissman; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three greatgreat- grandchildren; her beloved dog, Buddy, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Victor; six brothers, Charles, Elmer, George, Dalton Jr., Virgil and JamesMcFall; and three sisters, Laura Loyer, Nancy Strosal and Clara McFall.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 26 at Faith Presbyterian Church in La Vista, Neb. Interment followed the service at Fairview Cemetery in Papillion.
