Three Rivers brush pickup begins today

Here’s a reminder from the Three Rivers Department of Public Services regarding its fall brush pickup schedule.

Brush pickup begins today and will start in the city’s Third District. The process continues Tuesday in the First District; Wednesday in the Fourth District; and Thursday in the Second District.

DPS officials said brush should not have leaves mixed in and it should be on the terrace by 7 a.m. the day before pickup. In addition, there will be just one brush pickup this year.

Meanwhile, the first of two leaf pickups begins Monday next week. Residents who put leaf piles in the street prior to Sunday are subject to a fine.
