Sheriff’s Deputies in Kalamazoo County are searching for whoever stole Comstock Township’s snowplow blades. Officials say thieves made off with all three of the 500-pound plow blades from their facility just before Halloween. Whoever took them loaded the blades into a 17-foot trailer belonging to the township and drove off with it. The weight of the steel plows added up to about a ton so Deputies believe a group of people may have been involved. The cost of replacing the equipment has been estimated at around $13-thousand dollars. (MRN)
