The library was the only area venue to take part in a world-wide effort for “Most people sport stacking at multiple locations in one day.”
Library director Perri Saunders said the library maxed out its space at 60 people for the half-hour attempt. The effort involved stacking sport cups for at least 30 minutes.
The standing record was nearly 556,000 locations. Participating locations in Thursday’s effort will be advised later whether the previous record was surpassed.
