Virginia Rumzie, 65

Virginia J Rumzie, age 65, of Centreville, passed away Friday, January 2nd, 2015 at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo. She was born in Brookville, PA February 1, 1949, a daughter of Earl and Virginia (Silvis) Kahnell. Virginia graduated from Titusville High School, PA in 1967. She served in the US Army from 1968 to 1969. On March 12, 1982 she married Theodore Rumzie in Pleasantville, PA.  Virginia worked for the US Postal Service, Oshtemo, MI, retiring in 2009. She previously worked at Quaker State in Oil City, PA for 26 years. She enjoyed camping, puzzle books and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Virginia is  survived by her husband, Ted Rumzie, Centreville, four daughters, Melissa Troupe, of Douglas, GA; Mary Jo (Robert) Chaplin, Three Rivers;  Jenny (Timothy) Bower,  Centreville; Angela (Mike) Skeen, Three Rivers; two sons Michael Rumzie, Mendon; Jack Rumzie, Mendon; 20 grandchildren,10 great grandchildren, sisters, Carolee (Robert) Johnson, Waterford, PA; Cynthia Kahnell,  Pleasantville, PA; brothers, Rodney (Tami) Kahnell,  Watertown, NY; John (Susan) Kahnell,  Oil City, PA; Tracy Kahnell, Greenville, PA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Terry Kahnell.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at New Hope Assembly of God, Three Rivers, at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 10th,  with Pastor Steve Miller officiating.
