Elizabeth Lytle, 96

Elizabeth Maxine Lytle, age 96, of Three Rivers passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at the Sunshine Care Home of Three Rivers. She was born in White Pigeon, MI on April 30, 1918 the daughter of William and Ione(Smith)Friesner.
Elizabeth graduated from White Pigeon High School. On December 24, 1940 Elizabeth was united in marriage to James Lytle in Constantine, MI who preceded her in death in 1974.
Elizabeth was employed for many years at Dr. Denton’s in Centreville and Riverton Industries in Three Rivers as well. She was also a member of the Three Rivers Eagles # 2303 Auxiliary, Past President, achieving Golden Eagle, and was the first to receive the nomination of “Mrs. Eagle” 1995. She was also inducted into the Michigan Eagles Hall of Fame in 2002.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Lytle, two brothers, three sisters, and one great grandson.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory daughters, Jane (Roger)Cripps of Marcellus, MI and Anabel(George)Eash of Cadillac, MI; six grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of services beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Hostetler officiating.
Interment will be held at White Pigeon Cemetery.
