Four personnel matters were approved Tuesday by the St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners.
Mark Harter was brought aboard as a full-time park ranger at $15.90 an hour. Meanwhile, Linda Wyckoff and Virginia Soule were hired as home-care aides with a pay of $10.70 an hour. Also, Melton Powell was hired as a chore worker for $9.50 an hour.
The county commission also renewed three appointments to the St. Joseph County Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.
The at-large appointment was awarded to Ken Jones, while Larry Walton will continue to serve in the capacity of agriculture appointment. Their terms will expire in June 2019. Eric Eishen, finance appointment, was also reappointed to a term ending in January 2021.
