Rudy “Ed” Edward Kelley, age 61, of Marcellus, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on July 13, 1947 the son of Rudy Washington and Lucy Thelma (Dancer) Kelley.
Mr. Kelley was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Rudy W. Kelley.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving family, wife, Hattie (Jeffries) Kelley, whom he married in 1967 in Leesburg, GA.; one daughter, Dina Kelley, of Three Rivers; two sons, Jerry and Terry Kelley both of Three Rivers; three sisters, Ida P. Johnson, Ruby Harper, and Janie Klir; five brothers, Jay, Billy, Jerry, Randal, and Mike Kelley. Grandchildren, Cortney, Cody, and Dustin Baldwin, Tyler and Lacey Kelley, Justin and Dakota Burnett. Great-grandchildren, Brianna Connell, Chance Kelley, Alexander Rudy Baldwin.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Pastor William Chapman officiating.
Interment will be held in Prairie River Cemetery.
