Valerie Ranee (Harvey) Gregrich, age 62, of White Pigeon, passed away Saturday, April 25th, at Borgess Medical Center. She was born on January 3, 1953, in Colon, a daughter of Miller Earl and Alberta (Schrader) Harvey. On June 17, 1995, she married Philip Gregrich. He preceded her in death on August 14, 2014. Valerie worked at Coachmen Industries, Middlebury, for 23 years. She loved to crochet and scrapbook, was a dog lover, and her most prized possession were her many grandchildren.
Valerie is survived by her daughters Amanda (Josh) Overton, Rebecca (Troy) Hershberger, Angel Osbon (Fred Rose), MeShell (Greg) Mortensen; sons Philip Gregrich, Jr., Kenneth Gregrich, and Waylon Gregrich; grandchildren Kylee Keifer, Ethan Rutledge, Cody Rutledge, Trinity Hershberger, David Rose, Donovan Rose, Crystal Rose, Sharreen Johnson, Anna Mortensen, Eric Mortensen, and Valentine Mortensen; great-grandchildren Emmett Mortensen, Jack Rose, and Aubree Gilbert; her father Miller Earl Harvey; sisters Vicky Bowens, Vivian Hatch, Vanessa David, and Velvet Stoll; and brother Skeeter Harvey. She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, and sons Russell Collins Jr. and Joseph Rutledge.
Relatives and friends will be received Thursday from 11 to 1 at Firm Foundation Ministries in Centreville where services will follow at 1 pm. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Colon. Memorials may be directed to the Eley Funeral Home to help the family with expenses.
