A 75-year-old man has been arrested after a 74-year-old woman was shot to death in their southwestern Michigan home.
Kalamazoo County sheriff’s officials say the woman was found wounded early Monday morning in Texas Township, south of Grand Rapids. She later was pronounced dead.
Officials say the man police arrested was the only other person at the home at the time of the shooting. Their names were not released.
The Kalamazoo Gazette reports that the home is in the Wyngate Farms manufactured homes. Wyngate Farms general manager Matt Weaver tells the newspaper that the couple was “long-time homeowners” there and that management “never had any issues from them.” (AP)
