Donald Arthur Brunner Sr., age 88, of Three Rivers, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Three Rivers Health following a lengthy illness. He was born on Dec. 16th, 1926 in Three Rivers, the son of the late Sherman and Leona (Kipker) Brunner.
Mr. Brunner has been a lifetime resident of this area. He was employed as a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker for the Peterson Spring Company for over thirty years before retiring. He was a member of the Local U.A.W. Union and Past President of that organization. He was a faithful and active member of the Agape Family Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Frances Brunner whom preceded him on March 11, 2005.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, one daughter, Constance Brooks; of Three Rivers; two sons, Donald A. Brunner Jr. of Ranger, GA., and Ronald R. Brunner, of Detroit, MI.; half brother, Norm (Carlene) Brunner, of Three Rivers; Spiritual companion, Delores Moore, of Three Rivers; seven grandchildren, Donald III, Daniel, and Dustin Brunner, David Brooks and Dawn Laucus, Stacey Twellman and Melissa Brune; thirteen great-grandchildren. Host of nieces and nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until the time of memorial services at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Agape Family Church with Pastor Leon Troyer officiating.
