A pair of employment agreements was approved last week by the St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners.
The hours for Ann Happel and Brian McDaniel were increased to 22 1/2 hours each as part of their work with the County College Access Network.
They previously both worked 15 hours a week, but their workload was increased to cover the duties previously overseen by another employee who recently resigned.
Both employees are paid $25 an hour as college access direct services provider.
In another personnel matter, deputy clerk and election specialist Phyllis Lung has indicated she plans to retire at the end of the year. Lung has been a county employee for nearly 20 years.
Also, Jennifer Homan was hired as a telecommunicator trainee at $12.88 an hour, effective Oct. 28.
