Russ Morlan, 85

Max “Russ” Morlan, age 85, of Marcellus, MI passed away at home on Monday, October 26, 2015.
He was born June 15, 1930 in Dowagiac, MI the son of Max Vernon and Edna Blanche (Goble) Morlan. On June 14, 1956 he married Shirley Mae Reigle who survives.
Russ served two years in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Volinia Masonic Lodge #227 F & M, the Three Rivers Eagles, Marcellus Lions Club and the American Legion. He was also a Mason for over 60 years He enjoyed bluegill fishing and reading westerns.
Surviving besides his wife Shirley are two daughters, Martha (Bob) Perkins of Indianapolis, IN and Mary Morlan (Ernie Noel) of Marcellus, formerly of Kanakee, IL; one son, William (Laurie) Morlan and granddaughter Holly of Granger, IN.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Thursday, October 29, 2015 in the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, Marcellus with a Masonic service at 8 PM.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, October 30, 2015 in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Marcellus Cemetery.
