A state-administered survey found that people who had dealings with St. Joseph County courts this year are satisfied with the experience.
Using a survey conducted in courts statewide, the 45th Circuit, 3B District and 75 Probate courts asked questions about their level of satisfaction with court services. Across the board, court users said all of the county’s courts were accessible, timely, fair and that they were treated with courtesy and respect.
Chief Judge Paul Stutesman said public input is important because court users can help make critical management decisions to improve the efficiency of court operations.
Getting positive marks for three years in a row shows how hard the court team is working in St. Joseph County, Stutesman added.
Developed with input from judges and court administrators statewide and tabulated by the State Court Administration Office, the survey enables courts to identify strengths, provide positive feedback to employees and target areas for improvement. The survey was completed by a range of court users, including parties to cases, attorneys, jurors and others.
