Marcos Dario “Booboo” Andaverde, age 45, of Sturgis, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at Sturgis Hospital.
He was born April 5, 1970, in Sturgis, a son of Librado and Nicolasa (Tejada) Andaverde Sr.
Marcos had resided in Sturgis his entire life. He graduated from Sturgis High School with the class of 1988.
He loved spending time with his family and his needs were always second to everyone else around him. Marcos lived his life with the motto, “I Got This!”
He loved working on cars, cooking and, in his younger years, roller-skating.
He is survived by his beloved dog, Magee; his children, Brendon Andaverde of Centreville, Brittnie Andaverde of Centreville, Heather Waite, and Andy and Adam Boughton; Grandchildren Kameron, Alexandria, Niraih and Elizabeth; his parents, Librado and Nicolasa Andaverde Sr.; brothers Jaun Andaverde and Librado (Belinda) Andaverde Jr.; sisters Maggie “Andaverde” Hicks and Martha Poley; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Marcos was preceded in death by his grandparents; and two uncles.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Road, Sturgis, MI 49091.
