Marilee Dean, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Marilee was born on Feb. 27, 1933 in Three Rivers to Shirlie and Paul Kerr. She was happily married to Ralph Dean Jr. for 62 years. Marilee enjoyed her role as homemaker and mother to her four children. The family lived for 28 years in Fenton until Ralph retired from GM. They moved to Crystal Lake in Frankfort, Mich. in 1987. Marilee enjoyed cooking, tennis, cross country skiing, water activities, and playing cards and board games. She was a Girl Scout leader and Sunday school teacher, but most of all, she loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a faithful member of Blaine Christian Church.
Marilee was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Dean Jr.; infant daughter, Karen; brothers, Robert Kerr and Kenneth Kerr; and infant granddaughter, Carrie Ann Pellett. She is survived by her four children, twins Steve (Donna) Dean and Becky (John) Pellett, Diane (Craig) Newman and Carole (Bob) Anderson; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Phyllis Kerr; brother-in-law, Terry Patterson and Ruth Patterson, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Jowett Family Funeral Home Friday, April 29 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Memorial service Saturday April 30 at Blaine Christian Church, Arcadia, Mich. at 11 a.m. with a visitation at 10 a.m. Arrangements by Jowett Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
