Dale Tavernier, 79

Dale Henry Tavernier, age 79, of Three Rivers passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 23, 2016 at his home.  He was born in Three Rivers on July 9, 1936 the son of Chester and Lillian (Zerby) Tavernier.
Dale was a graduate of Three Rivers High School.  He served in the National Guard for eight years.  Dale was united in marriage to the love of his life, Barbara Hack, whom preceded him on August 28, 1981.  He was an avid bowler and won many trophies throughout his competitions.  Dale was a member of Three Rivers Elks B.P.O.E. Lodge #1248.  Dale’s greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren and will he be dearly missed by them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Barbara and numerous siblings.
Dale leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Julie (Darrell) Evans of Three Rivers; son, Michael Tavernier of Three Rivers; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Nolan) Herrington , Lindsey Evans, Logan Evans, Alicia Evans, Shawn Evans, and Barbara Evans; great grandchildren, Reese Herrington and one on the way; special neighbors, Hugh (Debra) Hudson and many friends.

In accordance with his wishes cremation will be conducted and private services will be held at a later date.
