Donna Hendricks, 65

Donna J. Hendricks, 65, of Sturgis, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, following an extended illness.
She was born July 1, 1950, in Three Rivers, a daughter of Harold G. and B. Juanita (Schultz) Wesse.
She was a resident of Sturgis since 2009, coming from Centreville and White Pigeon, where she graduated high school.
She was manager of the crafts and fabrics department at Walmart in Sturgis and was a 4-H leader. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and crafts and was a member of Corner Stone Baptist Church in Shipshewana, Ind.
She is survived by five children, Mark (Jennifer) Hendricks of Sturgis, Barbara (Daniel Barnett) Cox of Bronson, David (Heather) Hendricks of White Pigeon, Tonia (Anthony Blackshear) Hendricks of Sturgis and James (Elizabeth) Hendricks of Howe, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; a son-in-law, Scott (Betsy Harwell) Cox of Three Rivers; her mother, B. Juanita Wesse of White Pigeon; a sister, Marsha (Denny) Ward of White Pigeon; a brother, Marty (Shirley) Wesse of Constantine; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her father; and a brother, Dennis Wesse.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Corner Stone Baptist Church in Shipshewana, Ind. Donations may be directed to the family.
