Kent Johns, 73

Robert Kent Johns, age 73, of Three Rivers passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016.  He was born in Three Rivers on August 11, 1942 the son of William and Effie (Evans) Johns.

Kent was a lifetime resident of Three Rivers.  He was employed as a private commercial jet pilot for many years.  He accumulated over ten thousand flight hours during his many trips.  He also was an accomplished musician and very skilled jazzed guitarist.  Kent recently became a licensed “Falconer” where he was able to embrace his love of the outdoors.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman as well.

Kent was preceded in passing by his parents.

He leaves behind two loving sons, Robert Evan Johns and David Maltais; special companion, Lois Boulette; many cousins and dear friends.

In accordance with Kent’s wishes cremation was conducted and private services will take place at a later date.
