Centreville High School’s baseball team came up one win short in its bid to reach Saturday’s Division 4 state championship game for the second consecutive year. Friday morning’s contest in East Lansing saw the Bulldogs fall to Sterling Heights Parkway Christian, 5-1. Centreville spotted the Eagles four runs in the opening inning, and the lead held. The Bulldogs, who entered the game as the No. 1-ranked team in the division, finish the season with a record of 28 wins and four losses.
