Colon woman injured during robbery

A day after robbing a 60-year-old Colon woman and dragging her with a vehicle, two 16-year-old Sturgis boys have been arrested.
Each is charged with assault/unarmed robbery and use of a computer in the commission of a felony. Authorities have not released their names because they are juveniles.
Police said another suspect, a 19- year-old from Sturgis, was questioned in connection with the incident.
Deputies will seek charges of conspiracy to commit unarmed robbery and receiving and concealing stolen property.
The suspects are being held in the Calhoun County Juvenile Center. Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties are two area facilities that have special facilities to house juveniles that have serious charges pending.
The incident occurred just before 4 p.m. Wednesday at the TSC parking lot on South Centerville Road in Sturgis.
Sheriff ’s deputies said the woman had arrived to meet someone who was buying an item from her through an online garage sale. The item was taken from her and then she was dragged about 15 feet by the suspect’s vehicle as it fled the scene.
She suffered minor injuries to her legs. She was treated at the scene by paramedics.
