A fundraiser to help a Constantine man injured in an alumni football game last year takes place this weekend.
The inaugural Rollstrong Golf Outing, to benefit Robert Roll, begins at noon Saturday at Sauganash Golf Course in Three Rivers.
Cost is $50 per golfer for the scramble and, furthermore, event organizers said hole sponsorships remain available.
Proceeds from the event will go toward building a handicap-accessible home for the Roll family.
Rollstrong officials are also teaming up with Barwis Method’s First Step Foundation and hosting a 5K fun run/walk Sept. 10 at Constantine High School.
Proceeds from the Sept. 10 event will go toward Roll’s injury recovery rehabilitation program at Barwis Methods.
Registration will be online and information on either event is available through the Rollstrong page on Facebook page.
