Daniel L. Lindsay, 59, of Bronson, passed away on Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, at Burr Oak Missionary Church, with Pastor George Milliman officiating. Interment will follow at Adams Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016, at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
Daniel was born March 12, 1957, in Sturgis, to Douglas and Harriett (Caywood) Lindsay. On Dec. 15, 1978, he married Wendy S. Milliman in Burr Oak.
Mr. Lindsay worked in product engineering and computer technology for Sturgis Public Schools, Bronson Precision Products and most recently for Morgan Olson in Sturgis.
Dan was an avid Detroit Lions fan and had a love of pinball and arcade games, which he proudly owned several. He loved to keep busy, always helping others on a variety of projects. There was nothing he couldn’t fix. Dan’s greatest joy was his family, he loved watching his children and grandchildren play sports and taking part in their many activities.
Dan is survived by his wife, Wendy; his children, Jeannie Ortiz of Burr Oak, Vicki (Rusty) Smith of Coldwater, Dana (Darren) Skirka of Coldwater, Dona Lindsay of Burr Oak and Danielle Lindsay of Bronson; his mother, Harriett Smith of Sturgis; his siblings, David Lindsay, Denise Bowen and Dawn (John) Watson, all of Sturgis, and Scott (Eileen) Lindsay of Louisville, Ky.; and grandchildren Kyle, Carlos, Allie, Destiny, Dylan, Lynsey, Nicholas, Isabella, Deziray, Danika, Dayla and Kayden. He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Lindsay; and his stepfather, Marty Smith.
