MSU hosts webinar on septic systems

MSU Extension is hosting a live webinar, “Septic Systems: Insight Into Your Onsite System,” from noon- 2 p.m. Monday.
The program will cover what a septic system is, how it works, best management practices to protect the system and human health, how to identify trouble in the system and steps to take if a problem occurs.
The live webinar will include presentations by the Department of Environmental Quality, the Macomb County Health Department Sanitarian Supervisor and a professional in on-site wastewater systems.
Presentations will be followed by a question- and answer session via chat box.
