Becky Yoder, 60

yoderRebecca “Becky” Yoder, 60, of Constantine, died at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at her home.
She was born Nov. 24, 1956, in Sturgis, to Frank and Bev (Musser) Lutz.
On Jan. 27, 1974, in White Pigeon, she married Rich Yoder. He survives. Survivors in addition to her husband are a son, Nick (Ashley) Yoder of Constantine; a grandson, Robert Yoder; three step-grandchildren, Andrea, Layla and Ethan; and two brothers, Greg Lutz of Ontario, Canada, and Mark Lutz of Constantine.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Cheryl Hays Shull.
Becky had worked several years for Shipshe Casuals, managing Apple Creek Alley. She also had worked in the library of White Pigeon Elementary School and Glen Oaks Community College. She had taught knitting classes, was an avid reader and owned a vast collection of books. She has had a love for animals and enjoyed riding motorcycle with her husband. She often laughed as she admitted that she knew a wealth of useless information and often spoke of her love for her grandson, Robbie.
Visitation will be from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, also at the funeral home. Services will be conducted by Pastors John Dexler and Scott Yoder.
Memorials may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County or Hospice of Sturgis.
