Glen Oaks names softball coach

Glen Oaks Community College has announced Grace Muller is taking over the softball program as head coach.
Athletic director Courtney Ivan said Glen Oaks is in a talented area and the school needs to capitalize on that talent.
The Vikings since 2009 have totaled only 18 wins. Ivan said Muller may hold the key to turn the program around, as Muller brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and energy to the program.
Muller is entering her first year at Glen Oaks after spending time as an assistant coach at Division I Cleveland State University and Division II Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio.
During her time at Cleveland State, Muller coached the player of the year in the Horizon League.
A Three Rivers resident, Muller attended Concordia University-Ann Arbor where she was a four-year starter.
