Diana Sue Wyman, age 73, of Constantine, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at her home. She was born September 22, 1943 in Elkhart, Indiana to LaMar and Loretta (Dowty) Kiefer. Diana graduated from Middlebury High School, Middlebury, Indiana, and the Carter Secretarial School in Elkhart, Indiana. She married DeVon Wyman on November 23, 1966 at the Trinity Missionary Church in Constantine. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2010.
Diana was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, always putting others first. She faithfully supported her husband’s military career in the United States Air Force, taking great pleasure in the places they served and the people they met. Diana attended Temple Baptist Church, Three Rivers, where she served in a variety of positions including Sunday School teacher, financial secretary, and deacon’s wife. She was also active in several mission projects, making girl’s dresses and baby blankets.
Diana is survived by her daughters Michelle Wyman of Constantine, Kayrn (Kevin) Beachey of Three Rivers, son Jeffrey (Melanie) Wyman of Lansing, grandchildren Kolton, Kody, Kelsey, and Kami Beachey and Matthew, Jonathan, and Madelyn Wyman; brothers Russell (Patricia) Kiefer of Lake Linden and Stephen (Linda) Kiefer of Middlebury, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, sister, and a grandson. Relatives and friends will be received Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Religious Services will be held at the Funeral Home, on Friday at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will be at the Constantine Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the ABWE Hospital of Hope, Togo, West Africa, or to the Temple Baptist Church Missions Fund.
