Mary Yoder, 70

Mary L. (Miller) Yoder died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017, at her home in Colon, at the age of 70 years, three months and seven days.
She was born Oct. 6, 1946, in Sturgis, to Leroy E.G. and Katie (Hershberger) Miller. On Oct. 19, 1965, she married Elias D. Yoder. To this marriage were born two sons and three daughters, Elias (Debra) Yoder Jr. of Cumberland Furnace, Tenn., Mary Katherine (Leroy) Troyer of Centreville, Alfred E. (JoAnn) Yoder of Colon, Rose Mary (Elva) Otto of Arthur, Ill., and Mary Esther (David) Mosley of Denver, Ind. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers; and four sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a stillborn daughter; a sister; and a sister-in-law.
Visitation on Friday afternoon and evening will be at her home, 30100 Marsh Road, Colon. Saturday visitation will be held at the Lloyd Slabaugh home, 71915 County Road 3, Nappanee, Ind., and where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Weldy Cemetery near Nappanee.
