Robert John Deisler, 57, of Edwardsburg, passed to his rest on Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, at his home, unexpectedly.
He was born Nov. 17, 1959 in Sturgis, a son of Donald and Shirley (Lough) Deisler, and had lived in the Michiana area all his life.
He was a carpenter, working in building houses and in commercial construction, including working on the Notre Dame Stadium.
He is survived by his daughters, Lauren Deisler and Kelli Deisler, both of Elkhart, Ind.; and a granddaughter, Emma Deisler. He has an “adopted” mother, Mary Deisler of White Pigeon. Also surviving are five sisters, Karen Covert of Elkhart, Jeanne Cullifer of White Pigeon, Sandra Bowen of Centreville, Jill Hagen of Elkhart and Martha (Mark) Brown of Constantine.
Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at a later date at White Pigeon Cemetery in White Pigeon.
Arrangements are by Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home in Edwardsburg.
