State Rep. Aaron Miller, who serves as the chair of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on State Police, has issued a statement after Gov. Rick Snyder presented his budget plan to the House and Senate
Miller said he appreciates the governor’s input and looks forward to working with him and the Senate to craft an efficient and effective state budget.
Miller added that he shares his desire to maintain focus on public safety so communities can be welcoming to both families and job creators.
Miller said an effort will be made to establish a budget that forces state government to live within its means. The goal, he added, can be achieved through responsible, common-sense spending to get the most out of every tax dollar.
