Time change for electronics recycling

A revision to the time St. Joseph County residents can drop off televisions, electronics and computers at Waste Management’s Westside Landfill has been made.
According to Pat Kulikowski, secretary of the St. Joseph County Solid Waste Committee, the Three Rivers-area landfill will accept the items on Saturdays only, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. through 2017. Previously, the site was open until noon.
The drop-off location is at the facility’s recycling center at 60050 Roberts Road.
The service is free but no help will be available for people who have televisions, computers or other electronics to drop off.
