Karen Anable, 75

Karen A. Anable, 75, proud lifelong resident of Centreville, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at her home. She was born in Three Rivers on August 18, 1941, a daughter of the late LeRoy and Myrtle (Harding) Brueck. Karen attended Centreville Public Schools. On April 20, 1958, she married Charles Anable in Centreville. He preceded her in death on March 17, 2013. Karen enjoyed sewing, playing slots at casinos, mushrooming up north, traveling to Mackinac over Labor Day, vacationing with her extended family, and baking. Above all else, she was most proud of her family.

Surviving are her daughters Debra (James) Gaugier, Vicksburg, and Dianne (Scott) Weiderman, Centreville; grandchildren Eric Weiderman, Sara (Travis) Houghton, Mark (Ally) Gaugier, and Laurie (Chad) Beck; great-grandchildren Maddi Weiderman, Cadence Weiderman, Carson Beck, Brycen Beck, Aubree Beck, Otis Gaugier, and Caroline Houghton; brothers David Brueck, Three Rivers, and Craig (Sandy) Brueck, Centreville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Relatives and friends will be received Friday, March 10 from 5-8PM and Saturday, March 11 from 12-1PM at Eley Funeral Home in Centreville. Religious services will follow on Saturday at 1PM with Pastor Dennis Kirouac (Riverside Church) officiating. Interment will be in Prairie River Cemetery, Centreville.
