Two arrested after traffic stop

A Three Rivers man was one of two people arrested last weekend on drug-related charges following a traffic stop in Constantine Township.
State police stopped a vehicle at 11:20 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 131 at Drummond Road after it was observed traveling 73 miles per hour. An authorized search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of several bags of marijuana packaged for sale, investigators said. Troopers also discovered powder and crystal methamphetamine, prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia.
The 24-year-old driver and a 24-year-old passenger from Champaign, Ill., were charged with felony possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of meth and possession of analogues.
