A. Louise Hotovy, age 90, of Sturgis, died on Friday, April 14, 2017 at her home. She was born December 25, 1926 in Chesterton, IN, a daughter of Ernest and Emma (Milbrandt) Willman, Sr. Louise attended Three Rivers schools. On June 22, 1946 she married Henry Leo Hotovy in Three Rivers. He preceded her in death in 1984. Louise and Leo owned and operated Leo’s Jewelry in Sturgis. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sturgis and enjoyed horses and harness racing with her husband.
Surviving are her daughter Diana (Bud) Mims of Gastonia, North Carolina, son Mark (Mary Ann Cook) Hotovy of Kalamazoo, grandchildren Joey (Charles) Caswell, Heidi (Jay Hecht) Blesch, JR (Becky) Hotovy, Eric Frutig, 11 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, sister Helen Noe of Constantine, and brother Ernest Willman Jr. (Jean Morgan) of Constantine.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Ernest Hotovy at birth, 2 sisters, and a brother.
Relatives and friends will be received Monday from 5-7 PM at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Religious services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sturgis on Tuesday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Russell Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Nottawa Township Cemetery.
