Meth lab found in TR

Three Rivers firefighters last week dismantled an active meth lab inside a van.
According to a police department media release, officers Friday evening observed a van that had been under surveillance for suspected drug activity. It was stopped on Railroad Drive near West Michigan Avenue.
Three men were inside and officers quickly determined K9 Django was needed to confirm the presence of narcotics.
One of the men was found to be in possession of multiple bags of methamphetamine, while another was discovered to be in possession of marijuana. In addition, officers located a suitcase that contained an active meth lab.
The 39-year-old driver and a 34-year-old passenger were charged with drug-related offenses. Their names and communities of residence were not included in a department media release.
