Sandra K. Dimmick, age 77, of Constantine, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 29, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Sandy was born Nov. 16, 1939, in Three Rivers, a daughter of the late harold (Oats) and Lucille (Stinson) Oldfield. She graduated from White Pigeon High School in 1957, being the second of a four-generation alumni in the family.She worked for Bristol Products/LaSalle Bristol for 45 years, retiring in 2009. She loved her family more than life. Spending time with them was what she loved best, along with garage-ealing, being with her friends at 5 Points Auction every Saturday night, doing crafts and loved cooking and hosting the huge family holiday get-togethers.
In 1982, she met the love her life and best friend, Gene Reiff. He survives, along with her children, Dan (Cindy) Royce of White Pigeon, and Dana (Jon) Sparling and Darcy (Roger) Reiff, all of Constantine; stepchildren Dave (Lois) Royce of Middleburg, Ind.; 32 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sue Long of Goshen, Ind.; her stepmom, Juanita (Bob) Oldfield-Heed of Mottville; two stepsisters, Anita (Dick) King and Alecia (Kim) Evans, both of Union; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, Stephen; a brother-in-law, Larry Long; and a stepson, Gene Reiff Jr.
As per Sandy’s wishes, a private family visitation and burial has taken place. Interment was in White Pigeon Cemetery. Farrand Funeral Home has been in care of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Three Rivers Hospice.
