Rosemarie Richardson, age 86, of rural Three Rivers, died Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Doctor’s Hospital in Bremen, Indiana. She was born in Three Rivers on Sep. 14, 1930 the only child of Burr M. and Ruth (Papke) Drumm. Rosemarie graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1948. She was married to Edwin A. Richardson on Aug. 13, 1955, and they were divorced many years later. She operated a child day care center for 12 years while living in Farmington Hills. She was a homemaker who enjoyed arts, crafts, and gardening.
Rosemarie is survived by a daughter, Rana Joy Richardson-Hynes of Three Rivers; a son, Rodney Ray (Judy) Richardson of Centreville; a daughter in law, Marguerite Basel of California; 3 grandchildren, Matthew (Ashley) Hynes, Matthew Cooper, and Casey Cooper; a great-granddaughter, Marie Hynes. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Randy Jay Richardson.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been conducted. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017 at New Hope Assembly of God, 55652 Buckhorn Road, Three Rivers with Pastor Steve Miller officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in Calhoun Cemetery. It is suggested that memorial donations be directed to the Three Rivers Health Homecare and Hospice. Assistance was provided by the Eickhoff Farrand Halverson Chapel of Three rivers.
