One injured in accident

Cass County Sheriff Richard Behnke said a 16-year-old Cassopolis youth was injured this week in a single-vehicle accident.

He said a car driven by Davonte Gouins was on Brownsville Road when the driver lost control and the vehicle left the roadway and overturned.

Gouins was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital for his injuries. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, according to investigators.
