Traffic stop leads to arrest

A 30-year-old Three Rivers man was charged with weapons-related offenses after he was stopped for an equipment violation last week.

According to Three Rivers police, the vehicle was pulled over Thursday on West Michigan Avenue at Erie Street. Officers noticed the man acting in a suspicious manner and asked him to exit the vehicle.

The man gave officers consent to search the vehicle, leading to the apprehension of a rifle and a loaded pistol. He was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm and faces felony weapons charges.
