Larry Frohriep, 69

Larry Eugene Frohriep, age 69, of Sturgis, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, at his home.
He was born Oct. 23, 1948, in Sturgis, a son of the late Harold and Frances (Persing) Frohriep.
Larry was a lifelong Sturgis resident.
He had been employed by Harris Kayot in Burr Oak and also had worked at Forest River RV in Middlebury and Dometic Corporation in LaGrange, Ind.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and loved time spent in the outdoors, especially on the 18 acres that surrounded his home.
He is survived by a son, Allen Frohriep of Howe, Ind.; his lifelong love, Bambi Walley of Sturgis; two stepdaughters, Shea (Larry) Strayer of Howe, Ind., and Senta (Jammy) Birchum of LaGrange, Ind.; four grandchildren, Saidy, Rilee, Denver and Megan; two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Ryker; two brothers, Wayne (Lori) Frohriep of Sturgis and David (Cindy) Frohriep of Burr Oak; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Scott Frohriep.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hackman Capel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis. Cremation will follow visitation. Private services will be held at a later date.
