Beverly A. Minger, age 85, of Centreville, died Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Bowman House in Three Rivers. She was born on August 11, 1932 in Los Angeles, a daughter of Arthur and Violet (Parham) Cotter. Beverly graduated from Centreville High School in 1950. On December 1, 1951 she married Frederick Minger in Centreville. He preceded her in death on October 9, 1990. Beverly was a lifelong homemaker and had worked at Village Market and Martinson’s Insurance in Centreville. She was an avid Bowler as a member of the Wednesday league in Three Rivers. She also enjoyed bird watching, gardening and puzzles. Beverly was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished her family.
Surviving are her children Chris (Christina) Minger, Centreville, Karen (Steve) Bailey, Centreville, Michael (Julie) Minger, Centreville and Julie (Dave Babcock) Minger, Kalamazoo, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, sisters Francis Coleman, South Bend, Eleanor Cotter, Indiana and brother James (Martha) Cotter, Centreville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Nicholas Minger, brothers Robert Cotter, Dale Cotter, sister Lois Hobbs, sister in law and best friend LaVonne Walters.
Relatives and friends will be received Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at Eley Funeral Home in Centreville, where religious services will be held at 11 am Friday, Pastor David Minger officiating.
